BRATTON FLEMING SS 63 NE 5/56 Leworthy Farmhouse and attached outbuilding
II
Farmhouse. Probably C17 with C19 alterations. Whitewashed rendered stone rubble with slate-hanging at left gable end. Scantle slate roof. Brick stacks at each end and rear rubble lateral stack with brick shaft. 3 cell through-passage plan with granary outbuilding with external stone steps at right gable end. Left end which breaks forward slightly, probably extended in C19. 2-storeys 4-window range of C19 to C20 casements, gabled half dormer to left end, and to its right a horizontal sliding sash window, 6-panes per light. Lean-to slate roof to porch with 1/2-glazed plank door. Ground floor C20 casement to left side with slate dripmould. 3 outshuts to rear, that to right with slate roof. Interior not inspected, but appears to be much altered.
