Details

SHUDY CAMPS MILL GREEN TL 64 NW (East Side) 8/105 Shardelows 22.11.67 Farmhouse II House. C16-C17, C18. Timber-framed rendered. Tiled roof with some slate and red brick ridge stack, C16-C17, with few diagonally set grouped shafts. C19 stack of two diagonally set shafts to rear of crosswing. Hall with crosswing at west end. Extended on east and north. Two storeys and attic. South west front has large gabled dormer, C19 above two, tripartite hung sashes. Doorway C19, with contemporary, narrow hood on cut brackets. Crosswing also of two storeys and either with C19 fenestration of one tripartite hung sash to each storey. Extended at east end in C18 and at the rear of the crosswing in C19. Interior: abutting inglebook hearths, stopped chamfered beams and C18 cupboard. Two plank doors with strap hinges.
