HESKIN BANNISTER GREEN SD 51 NW 9/122 Barn c.30 metres west of Howe Brook House Farmhouse 17.4.67 (Formerly listed as Barn at Howe Brook House) GV II
Barn, early C17 or earlier. Part timber framed on high stone plinth, part random rubble and part brick, with stone slate roof. Three bays; north side of post-and-rail timber framing with straight bracing to the wallplate, some remains of clamstaff-and-daub panels below the rail, but mostly weather-boarded; opposed wagon entrances in the centre: south side of random rubble with slit breathers; gable rebuilt in brick.
