SX 86 NE ABBOTSKERSWELL MAIN STREET Abbotskerswell 3/17 All's Well Cottage - 21.6.77 II Cottage. circa late C17 with C20 extension. Rendered cob and rubble walls, gable ended thatched roof. Rendered rubble gable end stack to left, brick stack to right gable end. 2 room plan with principal heated room to the left. Probably central passage/entry hall, stack inserted into right-hand room in C19. C20 lean-to extension at rear. 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 window front, one to first floor. Ground floor windows are C20 2-light casements with small panes. To the left of centre on first floor is small dormer window, probably C19 2-light casement with small panes. C20 flat roofed porch at centre, part glazed with similar door. Circa early C20 outshut extends along rear wall and slightly beyond it to the right. Interior not inspected, believed to contain few original features.
