Mid C18 house with early C19 facade. L-plan. Red brick. Plain tiled roof with parapet
and tumbled gable ends. End stacks. Two-storeys and attics. Two flat roof dormers,
on either side of central dormer with ogee arched head. Facade has moulded stone cornice
and band between storeys. Symmetrical elevation of two-storey canted bays with reeded
architraves, boss enrichments at corners and moulded cornices. Semi-circular headed arch
to central hung sash with coloured glass to margin lights. Central doorway. Doorcase
of fluted, half round engaged columns with plain entablature and cornice. Panelled door
and reveals. Rectangular fanlight with glazing bars. Two late C18 service wings at rear.
One dated 1785. Brick pantiled and plain tiled. Early C19 piers and gates to front
right hand. Gates of cast iron with honey-suckle ornament.
