Detached cottage. Early C18. Flemish bond brick with yellow
headers and limestone dressings, double Roman tiled roof, gable end
brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two-storey, 5-window.
Central 6-panelled door in roll-moulded stone surround with C20
flat wooden hood on brackets, two 2-light beaded flush mullioned
casements either side. First floor has wide stone plat band, two
2-Light beaded flush mullioned casements either side of central
single casement in beaded stone architrave; two of the surrounds
are good concrete replacements. Left return wall in dressed
limestone, windowless. Rear has C20 two-storey flat-roofed
extension. Interior not accessible at time of survey (February
1986), but said to have corner open fireplace with chamfered
lintel on stone jambs.
