GV II

Detached cottage. Circa 1700, 1955 addition. Dressed limestone, thatched roof with half hip to right and brick stack to left. Single storey and attic, 2 casements. Central planked door in chamfered case within stone gabled porch with chamfered round- arched opening, 2-light chamfered mullioned casement to left, single chamfered light to right, two eyebrow dormers with 2-light leaded casements. Right return has 2-light casement to ground floor, single casement to attic. Attached to left is 1950s extension, not of special interest. Rear has small casement lighting stairs to left, aluminium casement and projecting buttress to right, possibly for bread oven, attic has single cast-iron casement to brick eyebrow dormer. Interior has chamfered beams, one with deep chamfer and probably reused, carved chamfered corbel on south wall, for lamp.
