SD 49 SE UNDERBARROW AND BRADLEYFIELD 1/45 Tranthwaite Hall Farmhouse
G.V. II House. C17 with C19 alterations and extension to South. Stone rubble walls, graduated slate roof. 2 storeys. North elevation has 3 horizontal sliding sashes, with glazing bars, under timber lintels and C20 window to ground floor. 3 paired sashes and 1 single sash window to upper floor. South side has oak door, probably original, inside lean-to porch. Very thick end wall is said to contain original stair and fireplace. See also RCHM p.231.
