Farmhouse and barn. Dated and inscribed over entrance ROBERT DAWSON 1752. Dressed pink sandstone with string course, eaves cornice and V-jointed quoins. Extension and barn have mixed sandstone rubble walls, all under graduated greenslate roofs with cement rendered banded stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays with right single-bay extension under common roof and lower right 2-bay barn. Off-centre C20 panelled door and overlight in chamfered stone surround. C20 plastic casement windows in original chamfered stone surrounds. Extension has C20 plastic casement windows in red sandstone surrounds. Barn has slit vents on 2 levels and left plank door in stone surround. Tall upper-floor window nearest house. Rear of house has late C18 outshut. Rear of barn has enlarged C20 garage door, partly in the blocked segmental cart archway. Further right barns are not of interest.
