PARK STREET (north side)
Cambridge Lodge

GV
II

Part of Windsor Castle and with access from Home Park but integral with Park Street. Circa 1840 probably by Blore as it relates to Royal Mews work. Three storeys small cut rock faced Portland stone with sandstone dressings. It could therefore possibly be of circa 1820-30 and by Wyatville.

Octagonal corner tower with Park Street, castellated parapet, concave swept return to canted narrow bastion. A two storey crenellated proportion to ground and first floor runs north in front of canted second floor, linking with four storey octagonal with tower. Paired and single lancet windows, weathered plinth string raised as drip mould over ground floor windows. Small canted stone porch with stone pent roof.

Park Street Lodge Nos 2 to 16 (consec) Nos 25 to 28 local list only, entrance to Blach Lion Yard, Nos 20 to 24 (consec), Archway to Royal Mews, Nos 29 to 35 (consec). Cambridge Lodge, Cambridge Gate and Park Street Gate form a group.
