Details
QUEEN CAMEL CP HIGH STREET (East side) ST5924 8/100 Morven 24.3.61 GV House at end of row. C17 modified. Local lias stone to near-ashlar, Ham stone dressings; red brick and stone parpet; plain clay tiled roof between copings; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Originally chamfer-mullioned windows in wave mould recesses, with labels, but all mullions removed and above are two 12-pane casements to each window, below pairs plain sash windows to each unit; to lower bay 2 a 6-panel door set in heavy wood frame and classical timber architrave: parapet has string mould and plain Ham stone coping. Interior not seen. Formerly the doctor's house in the village, the house to south (qv) formerly the surgery.
