Details
NUNEATON AND BEDWORTH ST. GILES ROAD SP38NW (East side) Exhall 4/72 Chest tomb approx 21m S of porch of Church of St. Giles GV II
Chest tomb. Late C17. Sandstone. Moulded plinth and elaborately moulded cornice. Corners have Tuscan antae, and south side has pilasters framing wide central section. Narrow flanking sections have 2 ornamental panels of circles and bars. Central pitched section of top has pediment carved with skull and cross bones to north and a dove to south. Ends have single panels of a large oval and bars and 4 small circles.
