WOLFHAMPCOTE SAWBRIDGE SP 56 NW 7/135 Manor Farmhouse - II Farmhouse. 1654 with later alterations; fragment of demolished C19 wing to rear. Square coursedironstone; front range is largely rendered. Tile roof has coped gable parapets with moulded kneelers; large stone stack in left corner has brick shaft; wing has brick ridge stacks. L-plan, with wing on left to rear. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Main front to garden has C20 glazed panelled door. 3-light C20 wood mullioned and transomed windows to left and right. Centre rises to 3 storeys. Moulded 3-light stone mullioned windows. Gable has datestone TCA/1654. Return sides have 2-light mullioned windows, to left with hood mould. Main entrance in wing has open-fronted porch. Plank door. Renewed 5-light mullioned window to right, and 3-light window above, each with hood mould. Interior: VCH records moulded ceiling beams to ground floor and stop-chamfered beams to first floor. Said to have open fireplace. (VCH: Warwickshire, Vol VI, p.269).
