Sunken garden and loggia at NE. end of garden front. 1909 by Rees. Stone balustrades and steps to paved area around large square pool with fountain in front of cherub mounted on a fish and holding a fish, flanked by cockleshells and surrounded by frogs. Loggia at upper level, colonnade of 4 doric columns supporting oak joists, ashlar stone wall at rear with central apse containing 3 semi-circular arched windows, flanked by semi-circular headed niches with statues. Flanking balustrades and steps in front.
