Details
SW 98 SE ST ENDELLION CHURCH HILL, (west side), Port Isaac 9/33 No 22 - GV II House. Circa 1840's. Stuccoed and rendered, slate-hung on left-hand side. Slate roof with deep over-hanging eaves and with hipped end to front. Brick axial chimney stack on right, shared with adjoining property (qv No 20 Church Hill). Ground slopes steeply to right with basement on right. 2 room double depth plan with entrance on left with stair in rear of passage. 2 storeys and basement with regular 2-window front. Basement on right with 3 glazed slit openings. Ground floor with entrance on left with Cl9 6-panel door with decorative fanlight and complete C19 doorcase with pilasters and entablature. C19 12-pane hornless sashes to right and to first floor with exposed moulded sash boxes. Left-hand side wall with large slate flags lining lower part of ground floor outer wall. Interior: C19 stair with ramped wreathed rail and stick balusters. Only entrance hall inspected. Number 22 Church Hill remains largely unaltered with complete C19 fenestration.
