SW 97 NE ST ENDELLION ST ENDELLION 4/139 Group of 4 tombchests of Philp and - Brown families 11-12.5m to south of south aisle of Church of St Endelienta GV II 4 tombchests, 1752, 1770, 1771 and 1780. To members of the Philp family and Brown family. In memory of Thomas Philp and Jane Read Philp, 1770. Later Brick chest with slate lid inscribed with good quality lettering with serifs. In memory of Francis Philp of Pendogget (died 1780) and wife Honor (died 1789). Stone rubble with moulded granite plinth and slate lid. Inscription in upper and lower case lettering with serifs; 'Out of the sincerest regard for one of the tenderest of Husband's his widow Honor Philp has caused this tomb to be erected on his grave'. In memory of Thomas Philp of Pendogget (died 1752), wife Jane (1766) and 3 sons William (1762), Thomas (1724) and Thomas (1730). Later brick chest with slate lid. In memory of Thomas Brown of Lannow (died 1778) and Thomas his son (died 1771). Late brick chest with slate lid.
