Former Methodist Chapel now Masonic Lodge. Late C19 of random coursed rockfaced
rubble with squared quoins, ashlar dressings and timber-framed superstructure with
roughcast infill on brick skin. Plain tile roof. Nave and south-east corner
tower. 4-bay nave with trefoil-headed windows set in pairs in alternate sections
of the framework, all with geometric patterned stained glass. Tower has a
pyramidal roof on bracketted eaves and stairway to the east facade under a lean-
to canopy, all in wood. West facade of chapel has a Caernarvon-arched doorway
with 2-leaf plank doors. The former chapel was built by the Wills family and
makes an important visual contribution to the villagescape with Mill House (q.v.)
and Gauge House (q.v.).
