2. Piecemeal development from C12 to C15 of chancel, nave with north and south aisles, and western tower. Restoration in 1879. Rubble limestone and cobbles with some limestone dressings; tower has flint and clunch and limestone chequerwork. The chancel windows are modernised in C13 detail. it has a sedilia, piscina and tomb recess, as well as C11 floor tiles around the altar and two C14 brasses. The 4-bay nave is a mid-C13 expansion one bay west of an originally aisleless nave given its aisles in stages during the C13 and C14. The nave was heightened and the present roof added in the late C15. Some linen-fold pews. Font is C12 altered C15. The C15 west tower has pairs of corner buttresses and 2 offsets, and a tierceron-star vault within.
