STOCKWOOD PARK, 1. 5123 Farley Hill Stockwood House Stable Block TL 01 NE 3/1 29.10.74 II

2. Mid C18. Five bay, 2 storey block. Brick with brick quoins and dressings and stone imposts and copings. Centre bay breaks forward slightly from lower wings and has a raised second storey above a tall round headed coach arch with a round window and an open pediment over brick band. Open domed cupola on slender columns on ridge of shallow slate roof. Side bays of rendered brick (somewhat exposed) joined to centre bay by ramped parapets. Terminal bays break forward slightly and have blind semi-circular windows on ground floor. Left wing has window with two wooden mullions. Wings have brick band and parapets. Slate roofs, nipped over end bays. C19 brick two storey wing inside block. Segmental arches with stone imposts and bases. Bevelled reveals to these and to cambered arch headed hay loft windows. Cobbled yard.
