Complex house with rear C16 or early C17 house of coursed limestone rubble.
Tiled roof. T plan with half-hipped roof to cross wing. Two storeys. Heavy
central chimney stack to main wing which has four rectangular shafts set at
right angles to the base. Irregularly placed casement windows with glazing
bars. Rear elevation has two one storey lean-tos. The front block is late
C19 and pebbledash rendered. Tiled roof hipped to left hand end and half-
hipped to right. Forward projecting two storey gabled porch with wavy-edged
bargeboards and drop finial. The first floor oversails and is clad in mock
timber-framing. Canted ground floor with double doorway under arched
fanlight. Similar arched fanlights to casement windows in side elevations.
The porch is flanked by two mullion and transom casement windows with glazing
bars beneath drip moulds. Right elevation has similar window to each floor.
Left hand elevation has attic gabled dormer with bargeboards and drop finial.
Ground floor canted bay.
