8/73 Nos. 12 to 17 (consec.) Bunyan's Mead (formerly listed as nos 184, 185 and 186, 187, 188) 13.7.64 GV II
Row of houses. C16 or earlier, C17, Cl8, and restored 1976-77. Timber framed, mostly with colourwashed plaster infill, but weatherboarding to no. 16. Clay tile roofs. 3 properties form 2-storeyed row bordering road, with nos. 12 and 14 as one-storey and attics block projecting from rear at N end. Slight variations in roofline and in frontage line. Front elevation: no. 15 has heaviest, earliest timbering and jettied first floor, with C2C brackets. Variety of casements, mostly C20 with glazing bars, but no. 16 retains some with leaded lights. C20 doors. Rebuilt brick ridge stack to no. 16. N elevation of nos. 12 and 14: lighter timbering. C20 doors and windows. 3 gabled dormers. 2 rebuilt red brick ridge stacks.
