Details
SP 9435-9535 ASPLEY GUISE WEST HILL 7/23 The Lodge GV II Hcuse, apparently formerly subdivided into 2 dwellings. Early C19. Colourwashed brick with slate roofs. Complex plan with gabled block bordering road. 2 storeys. Ground and first floors each have 3 3-light casement windows, each light of these with 4-centred head and ornamental glazing bars. Plank door between 2 LH bays, panelled door to RH bay, both under gabled open porches , LH of which has rustic timbering. Colourwashed brick, ridge stack with Tudor style ornamental pots. Later C19 gable adjoins to LH end, projecting to road edge, with garage to ground floor and casement to first floor.
