House, formerly rectory. Earlier C.18, built for scholar Zachary Grey, rector 1725-66. Red brick, some vitrified, giving mottled effect. Clay tile roof, Double-pile plan with 2-span roof. 2 storeys and attics. N elevation: moulded brick band at first floor level, wood modillion eaves cornice. 5- window range of flush sashes with glazing bars under gauged brick flat arches. 3 box dormers to attic with C2U casements with glazing bars. Central doorway up flight of stone steps. Panelled door, flanked by fluted pilasters and surmounted by broken pediment hood on moulded brackets. Red brick integral stacks to both gable ends. Interior: retains panelled doors and reveals. Geometrical staircase around oval well, with plain stick balusters. Mid C19 red brick 2-storeyed block adjoins to E, with single-storeyed service block projecting northwards.
