House. Circa late C17, probably extended in C18. Timber-frame on brick or stone plinth, all rendered in pebble-dash. Thatched roof with gabled and hipped ends. Brick axial and gable end stacks. Plan: 3-room plan with winder stairs between left (S) room and smaller centre room. The right hand (N) room and short wing behind may be an C18 addition. Exterior: One storey and attic. Asymmetrical 3-window east front. C20 2 and 3-light casements with leaded panes. Thatched eaves rise as eyebrow over one central attic window. Doorway to left of centre with C20 timber frame and brick porch. Rear west has hipped roof wing on left with eyebrows over attic windows on west and north sides and C20 outshut on south side; all C20 casements. Interior: exposed wall and partition framing with straight tension braces. North room has thin chamfered cross-beam and exposed joists; the centre and south rooms have no main beams and exposed later joists. South room has Victorian iron chimneypiece, centre room has C19 wooden pilastered chimneypiece and north room has fireplace with wooden lintel. Circa C18 2-panel cupboard door under stairs. Tie-beam roof trusses with collars and clasped purlins.
