QUEEN'S ROAD 1. 5128 Wesley Chapel SU 7273 7/557 II 2. Dated 1812. Red brick with stone and white brick dressings - steeple principally white brick. Tiled roofs. Gothic plan and elevation. 4 bay aisled nave with flush transept and 1 bay chancel. 3 sided gallery interior. Main porch to north-east with 3 stage tower and steeple. Lancet windows. Decorated tracery in large north window. The 2 spires of St John's and Wesley Chapel are close together and important landmarks for Reading.
