Details

TL 71 NW FELSTED WILLOWS GREEN 8/236 Willows Farmhouse 20.2.67 - II House. Built c.1580 with later additions and alterations. 2 storeys. Hipped plain red tiled roof, with single storey gable end extension to left. Long wall jetty timber framed and plastered, with 5 brackets to jetty. 4 range of C20 casement windows, with bays to right and left on ground floor, and small window to left of board door in arched surround. 2 windows to left extension. Attached late C16 square red brick chimney stack and rectangular R.B. chimney to left extension. Internally the frame is exposed with stop chamfered beam, jowled storey posts and side purlin roof. Originally built with timber chimney stack. Staircase tower at rear. RCHM 90.
