TAKELEY TAKELEY STREET 1. 5222 (north side) TL 52 SW 8/1 Two Gate Lodges II 2. Early C19 pair of Gate lodge houses, formerly to Bassingbourne Hall, in stuccoed brick, with grey slate hipped roofs. Two storeys. One window range, modern casements. Semi-circular arches with pilasters. Dentilled eaves, lean-to extensions at east and west. East lodge has flat roof extension on west side.
