GV II

House. Probably late C17, altered C18 when the adjacent barn was incorporated and the rear outshut added; bay windows later C19. East part rubble, west part (former barn) coursed rubble, outshut squared rubble; pantile roof with stone slates to eaves on east part, graduated stone slates on west part.

South elevation: right part 2 storeys, 2 wide bays. Canted flat-topped C19 bay windows with 4-pane sashes; similar sashes above in stone surrounds. Steeply-pitched roof with coped gables on moulded kneelers, and end stacks. Right return shows older projecting stack, truncated at lst-floor level. Slightly lower left part, 2 storeys, 2 bays; at right end renewed door in block surround. Left 4-pane sashes in tooled stone surrounds on both floors. Coped left gable on moulded kneelers; ridge and left end stacks. Left return shows set-back, 3 courses of projecting through stones, and outline of steeply- pitched gable of original heather-thatched barn.

Rear elevation: boarded door and two 4-pane sashes in house outshut. In west part blocked cross-passage doorway with 4-pane sash inserted.

Interior not seen.

Adjacent outbuilding to north-west is not of special interest.
