10/16 Coach-house and loose-boxes, 10 metres north of The Cottage GV II

Coach-house with range of loose-boxes attached to right. Mid C19 with C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble with dressed quoins and some brick infill, stuccoed front; renewed pantiled roofs. 2-storey, 5-bay coach-house. Irregular ground floor has C20 doors under raised segmental arches scored to imitate brickwork. Dutch door, part-glazed hit-and-miss window, narrow 5-pane light and boarded door, with 4-pane overlight:, to left of centre; C20 garage door and pair of doors under raised segmental coach arch to right. Symmetrical first floor has identical segmental window heads, 2 boarded openings and three 4-pane sashes. Low-pitched hipped roof has slightly-swept eaves. Single- storey, 3-bay range of loose-boxes has C20 Dutch door in left bay. Additions to left of coach-house not of special interest. Included for group value.
