Baldacchino monument. Late C19, designer unknown. Pink granite and white marble. Baldacchino of pink marble columns with white marble antae supporting a canopy of fishscale tile patterning with coronet and cross finial and having cusped and enriched round arches. Under the baldachino, a life-size marble female figure in classical robes and clasping a crucifix, standing on a pink granite plinth with battered sides. All standing on a raised plinth with pink marble surround to the front and inlaid, patterned pavement forecourt.
