Lodge farmhouse and attached outbuildings.
(Formerly listed as Bearpark Lodge and adjoining shippon in Witton Gilbert C.P.)

House and farmbuilding. Probably early C18 with C19 alterations and additions.
Coursed rubble with quoins; roofs Welsh slate and pantiles, with stone gable
coping and brick chimneys. 2 storeys of varying height, 9 irregular bays.
2-bay first build of house, with right end quoins, has renewed door at left
under slightly-round-headed rough voussoirs; similar head to 3-light window at
right; low first floor has small 4-pane fixed lights at left under wood lintel,
and 2-light horizontal sliding sash at right with broad glazing bars. Higher
3-bay left addition has similar ground-floor lintels to blocked central door,
with window inserted, flanking 3-light windows and small right end window, and
to first-floor 3-light window at left and small square light above door. Most
windows renewed, with glazing bars, wood mullions and transoms and rendered
sills; those in first build altered at time of second build. Farm building
has some left quoins, and old wood lintels over boarded door in second bay and
flanking small square windows; side stone steps to similar loft door recessed
in fourth bay; wide loft window with hit-and-miss ventilator over second-bay
door. Roof, with higher ridge over left 3 bays but continuous eaves, has
central chimney over these 3 bays; lower house has ridge chimney near right
end, and right gable coping. Farm building roof has shorter raked section
over loft door. Right return shows throughstones in gable. Small rear wing.

Interior shows close-set beams in first build of house; pegged trusses in loft
roof of farmbuilding.
