Pair of estate cottages. Early C19, late C20 alterations. Rubble stone walls, hipped slate roofs, central brick stack. 2 storeys. No 11 has part-glazed door in late C20 (1985) gabled porch. One casement window with glazing bars on each floor. No 12 has late C20 door and ground floor upvc window with sill lowered; casement window with glazing bars to 1st floor. Lean-to addition on west, a shop, has ledged door and a shop window with glazing bars. Included for group value.
NOTE: There are several other similar pairs of cottages in the village street, but nos 11 and 12 are the least altered.
