2. Altered circa 1700 cottage of traditional Cotswold type, formerly a pair. Rubble with stone tile roof and 2 chimneys. Two attic gables with 2 light mullion windows and drips. Four later (C19) casements on ground floor and 2 hipped lean-to porches, both doorways have chamfered surrounds with stops at each end of posts, modern half-glazed door to left, ledged door with strap-hinges to right. There is a single light window with cornice to right of left hand door. Rear has 4 windows, the inner ones mullioned. North gable end has a range of mullion windows one light to attic, 3 light to ground floor. Interior: back to back inglenook fireplaces with wooden lintels and bread ovens. Former north cottage has stone newel stair (concealed below modern stairs).
