Details
1. 5193 PAMPHILL ABBOTT STREET (North Side) No 545 (Mason's Cottage) ST 90 SE 3/46 21.12.82 II GV 2. Probably C16 origin. Timber-framed walls, part plastered and cased or rebuilt in brick. Thatched roof. Central brick stack. Two-room lobby entrance plan. One storey and attic. Single-storey extension on east has brick walls and thatched roof. Front elevation, part brick, part pebble-dashed, has part-glazed door. Ground floor has two casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. Attic has two dormers with similar casements. Rear elevation, timber-framed with brick infil. Ledged door. Ground floor has three casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. Attic has one similar window under eaves. Internally, main ground floor rooms have deeply chamfered ceiling beams and large fireplaces - part built up. RCHM Monument 57.
