Attached house. Probably C18, - parts may be of earlier origin. Brick walls, thatched roof, one brick stack near centre and one (shared) at right end. 2 parallel ranges, one on street frontage, one set back, with connecting link containing stair. Rear range one storey and attic, front range 2 storeys. On front range, the right end section a later build. 6 panel door under hipped metal canopy on metal brackets. In left section, ground floor has 2 tripartite sashes with glazing bars. First floor has 2 sashes with glazing bars and wide architraves. In right section, a 2-storeyed canted bay window with sashes with glazing bars and moulded cornices on each floor and mock half-timbering between floors. Rear range may be earlier, of one storey and attic, with some lead light windows. In this range, large open fireplace with timber lintel and bread oven, and some exposed ceiling beams. Staircase with fretwork balustrade. (RCHM Monument 14 Dorset Vol III)
