BEAMINSTER BRIDPORT ROAD ST 4701/4801 (EAST SIDE) 7/15 Nos 1 and 3 (Brook House) with attached railings 11-11-66 II
Detached house. C18 with C20 additions. Red brick and rendered walls. Rusticated stone quoins on gable-end to road. Stone modillion cornice. One square brick stack in from hip apex. South elevation: 2 storeys and attics. 3 windows, renewed 3-light wooden casements with glazing bars. Flared stone lintel blocks over the projecting stone keys. C20 ground floor room extension, red brick with large windows Hipped slate roof over. 3-bay wing at north end, rendered walls, slate roof. Windows have sashes with glazing bars. Attached railings to road with urn finials at the main divisions standing on a stone sleeper wall.
