ST 40 SE BROADWINDSOR 4-12-1951 5/4 Continuous range of farmbuildings 10 metres south of South Dibberford Farmhouse
GV II
Cart-shed, Stables, (?) Cowstall, Barn at right-angles. Cl8. Dressed and rubble-stone walls, on a chert rubble base. Thatch roofs, hipped. Ridges at different levels. Cart-shed with opening in north gable-end. Stairs on side wall to loft over. Stables with Granary oven. 2 storeys, Windows either side of a stable-door. Wooden lintels over. Loft door over. Beams, slight-chamfered with run-out stops. Stall compartments and mangers intact. (?) Cow-stall, structural divide from stables, open to loft. Wooden shuttered window to right of door. Plank door, remade C20. Barn, returns to create an enclosure. Barn doors, opposed to each other, plank with strap-hinges. No loops. Roof: collar-beam construction with 2 sets of through-purlins.
