Including railings and gate before front of house and railings to rear

Formerly shown as Horsecastles Farm. Stone house of various dates, part
of it probably C18 or earlier. 2 storeys front to road has been much altered
and has cement-rendering in panel treatment. From right to left hand two
2-light casement windows above and a 3-light sash window below; to left
hand again, a 2-light casement above and a sash window below; to left hand
again, 2-light casement above round-headed doorway; 6-flush panelled door
with top 2 panels glazed, blank tympanum. Blank bay at South end. South
gable end is of ashlar arch has windows with moulded stone frames and keystones,
that to second floor being round-headed.
Front railings have uprights with spiked finials; square standards at intervals
with urn finials; front gate has uprights rising to two different heights.
Railings enclosing rear of house have uprights looped at the top in pairs;
railings extend from north-west corner of house to north corner of south
range.
