GREY SCHOOL PASSAGE 1. 5191 (West Side) Holy Trinity Infants School, including gateway to south and wall to north SY 6990 7/212 II GV 2. 1857. Portland or Ridgeway hammer-dressed stone, ashlar dressings. Pitched tile roofs with coped gables. 2 storey block at south end: 2 3-light windows with cusped heads and hoodmoulds that join to form stringcourse: 2 similar 2-light windows with coped gables over them. Single storey hall of same height at north end: 4 2-light and 1 3-light windows with curious unmoulded cusped tracery heads: 2 gablets in roof. 1 storey porch and adjacent room in angle of these 2 blocks: door with pointed chamfered arch, and recessed date panel over: 1 2-light window with cusped heads and coped gable over. Massive buttress with batter and gablet abutting tall and narrow staged bell-cote with gabled top. Gateway to south has modern iron gates in chamfered jambs. Wall to north of Portland or Ridgeway hammer-dressed stone with moulded coping. All the listed buildings in Grey School Passage form a group.
