Cleeve Cottage
GV
II
Cottage, late C18 or early C19, though possibly with an earlier core. Facade
largely obscured by creeper, appears to be rubble and ashlar. Half-hipped thatched
roof with central brick stack. 2 storeys, 3 window range. Upper floor retains
original 3-light wrought-iron casements with leaded-lights. Ground floor has C20
casements, those to the left with full glazing-bars and those to the right with
horizontal glazing-bars. Window in second bay from right probably blocks original
doorway. C20 thatched porch with part-glazed door to right gable. To the left is
a single-storey banded brick and flint extension.
