Elegant Late Georgian farmhouse, village shop at time of listing, later converted into houses, circa 1790.Two storeys and dormers, three windows wide (sashes, glazing bars intact), red brick and grey headers, originally painted. White painted timber porch of slim Roman Doric columns on high bases, carrying entablature, door flanked by pilasters, six panels (two glazed), jambs and soffit also panelled. Ground floor windows segment headed, first floor windows rise into eaves cornice of stepped bricks, tiled roof, chimney on ridge. Secondary door, simple hood on brackets in windowless west gable. Long rear wing, probably earlier C18 (paler brick), also sash windows, chimney on ridge, big stuccoed chimneybreast on end gable.

Stourview House and Stourview Cottage, The Old Barn, The Granary and The Malt House and the Barn and Railing at Stourview House and Stourview Cottage, form a group.
