Inn, now dwelling. Early C19. Stucco facade and quoins, slate roof. 3 storeys,
third may be a later addition. Facade divided by large arch over carriageway.
Third storey divided by broad band. Below band to left of carriageway is a 3-bay
front. This has a canted slate-roofed projection to the left with 3 sashes
having no glazing bars. Door with 2 lights and moulded architrave. To the right
is a canted bay with 3 sash windows. On the 1st floor are 3 sash windows with
glazing bars and moulded architraves. To the right of the carriageway is a canted
2 storey bay which has sash windows with no glazing bars and a projection with
a slate roof and double doors. The third storey above the band has 3 large sash
windows with glazing bars. The carriageway arch has large wooden gates. To the
rear through the carriageway are various ancilliary ranges.
