Large stone rubble gable end stack with set offs to right and stone rubble lateral stack at rear of east end. There is a large stair turret on the rear right hand corner. The present front entrance leads directly into the right hand room; the rear doorway is blocked but it is not certain whether it is directly opposite the front doorway. Ground floor has 3 horizontally sliding sashes, those to left and right with old frames with thick glazing bars, that to left of centre is C20 replacement. Central C20 glazed door with small slated canopy. 2 small early C19 2-light casements with glazing bars left and right on first floor. At rear semi-circular stair turret on left with small later lean-to added. Straight joint to right of centre and lateral rear stack to right. Ground floor small windows and window above to left. Blocked doorway to right and blocked window above. Interior: closely-spaced roughtly hewn cross-beams. Stone newel stair in rear stair turret. Later straight framed stairs in rear of east room.
