II
Small farmhouse. Circa late C17. Rendered stone rubble and cob. Asbestos slate roof with gabled ends. Rendered gable end chimney stacks. Plan: Original plan uncertain but appears to be 2 rooms with short rear wing at right angles at higher left end forming overall L-shaped plan. Later outshuts: rear outshut in the angle of the wing, one at lower gable end and another at side of wing at upper end. Large projecting chimney stack at lower gable end with oven. Internal stack at gable end of wing. Exterior: 2 storeys. 2 window range. Gable end of wing to left with internal stack. C20 casements, ground floor large, of 3 lights, first floor 2-light casements. Central doorway with C20 gabled porch. Large projecting chimney stack with set offs at lower gable end with rounded oven projecting at base. Interior: Room at higher end has chamfered ceiling beam with straight cut stops and blocked fireplace. Room at lower end also has blocked fireplace. Cupboard opposite rear doorway under central stairs has C18 fielded-panel door. Central stair opposite front entrance between higher and lower end rooms.
