Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18. Limewashed rubble, shingle roof, formerly thatched. May have been three room cross passage plan with heated outer rooms, and staircase flanking fireplace at left end. Two storeys, three windows; at ground floor a three-light casement and wide, part glazed door under lean-to slate hood; a small blocked light between the two. At first floor, three two-light casements, no glazing bars. Large gable stack, left. Back has later extensions, and cat-slide roof. Right end has half-hip and small external stack. Left return rendered with a small stairlight and a two-light casement, two blocked openings.

Interior has some exposed rough beams, large chimney breast and spiral stair left hand end. Original collar roof trusses on cruck-like principals.
