House. Circa early C19 with later extension. Local slate rubble with stuccoed front lined out as roughcast. Slate hipped roof with deep eaves. Side stacks with roughcast shafts. Plan: Situated at right angles to the road. Double depth rectangular almost square, plan with 2 principal rooms at the front and a central entrance hall between. The rooms at the back are probably shallower service rooms. There is a doorway from the road into the left hand side at the back. There is a 1-bay 2 storey addition set back slightly on the right hand end, of uncertain date. Exterior: storeys and attic. Symmetrical 3-window front, centre first floor blind. C19 12-pane sashes with slate sills. Central doorway with circa mid C19 panelled and glazed door. Set back to the right a 2-storey flat-roof addition with a panelled door and a 12-pane sash above. The left hand side elevation facing the street has 2 C19 12-pane sashes on each floor, the ground floor to the left has panelled shutters and to its left is a doorway with a C20 plank door. At the front there is a large C20 slate hung hipped roof dormer. Adjoining the left hand end of the front of the house the front garden wall, C19, built of slate rubble with ornate cast-iron cresting on the top. Interior: was not inspected.
