House, formerly vicarage, but probably originally a farmhouse with C17 origins, heightened and remodelled c.1820 when new front range added. Main range stuccoed rubble with stuccoed channelled pilasters and some cob. Slate roofs with gable end stacks and stack to rear. 3-sided courtyard plan with the stack to rear formerly the lateral hall stack of farmhouse in probably 3-room and through-passage plan with dairy added at right angles at lower end, but now with the upper end demolished and incorporated into the projecting gable-ended stair turret to rear of the T- shaped Georgian range. 2 storeys. Stucco voussoirs to 3-window range of hornless sashes, 8 over 8 panes each side of round-headed window with intersecting glazing bars over 2 large sashes 12 over 12 panes with original glass to each side of porch with hipped slate roof and half-glazed panelled doors flanked by sidelights and pilasters with moulded caps and cornice. Half-glazed inner door with fanlight with glazing bars. Dentilled cornice to entrance hall containing open-well staircase with moulded string and stick balusters.
