Ground floor has 2 light horizontal sliding sash 6 panes per light to left and 4 over 8 paned sash to right of gabled slate roof to timber porch with shaped bargeboards and decorative pendant and lozenge motifs to the pilasters. 4 panelled inner door. Front wing of Rock Cottage has two 16 paned sashes over 12 paned sash to right of plank door. Outshut to rear of both cottages. Interiors: Both cottages retain some C19 joinery, including 2 panelled doors to Fern Cottage. No access to roofspace but feet of trusses suggest the late C17 or C18 roof structure is mainly intact.
