Farmhouse. Early/Mid C17 with C19 refacing to ground floor and C19 additions and alterations. Red English garden wall hond brick with timber framing to first floor with rendered and whitewashed infill. Stone slate roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: Stone plinth common to whole building. Gabled projecting wing to right with 5-light C19 casement window to ground floor. Slight overhang to first floor, common to whole building with ovolo moulding to lower edge. 7 x 2 cells of decorative framing with chevron strutting to sides'and 3-light casement window to centre with plain panels below. Small framing to gable. To left of this is the main range. Two storey porch in the re-entrant angle whose roof is a continuation of that of the main range. C20 outshut before this. 3 panels of chevron strutting to first floor. Two and five-light ground floor casement windows to left of this with two 4-light casements to first floor set in 13 x 2 cells of small framing,the upper row being plain, the lower one chevron strutted. Left hand gable end: 4-light casement window to ground floor. Middle-railed close studding to first floor with 4-light casement window. Overhanging gable with moulded lower edge to the bressumer and close studding to gable. C19 outshut to right. Right hand side: some close studding to right of first floor. Rear: middle-railed close studding to right of first floor, otherwise C19 brick extensions and simulated close studding. Interior: Stop-chamfered ceiling beams to one ground-floor room. Lower half of roof truss to one first floor room showing a cambered tie-beam with arched braces.
