4/289 Barn approximately 8 metres south- east of West Week Farmhouse
GV II
Barn. Probably C17, reroofed in C20. Granite stone rubble with large, more neatly- dressed, quoins, corrugated iron roof, probably thatched originally. Plan and exterior description: threshing barn facing onto the farmyard to the west. It has opposing doorways onto the threshing floor, the front one wide and full height, the rear one smaller. Roof is gable-ended. Interior is open to a C20 replacement roof structure. This barn forms part of an attractive group associated with West Week Farmhouse (q.v.), which together make up one of the best groups of traditional granite buildings in this part of Dartmoor.
